Since 1963, Blue Hill Montessori School (BHMS) has been providing a nurturing and stimulating educational environment for 64 preschool and kindergarten children (ages 2.9 to 6 years) based on the principles outlined by Maria Montessori. Blue Hill occupies the historic Ponkapoag Grange Building in Canton, Massachusetts, along with an additional classroom and outdoor playground. Blue Hill is affiliated with the American Montessori Society and accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). One of BHMS' strengths is its highly stable and experienced staff and low student to teacher ratio (1:10). Our low teacher turnover means your child receives consistent care, not only from day to day, but from year to year, as many of our teachers are involved in more than one program.
